As if the wind was stroking the leaves and my face with its delicate soft breezes and the moon was spreading its dark blue light over the grass made the scene look like a dream and the voices of nocturnal birds that you can hear their voice only at nights. Evenings dull and gray, the road never bends Shadows fall the same way till the evening ends. Once in a fortnight the blue moon comes, sails past the sky and like a cosmic postman delivers a note for each one of us to try a different path where the geometry is not straight lines measured in miles, to give up the pleasant symmetry and break out into a winding of spirals; up and down the road may travel. Once a fortnight the moon will emerge to watch the secret of the journey unravel, and us with the moon, back to the simple life and a stroll. Darkness begins to settle on the city and the lake all at once, and the colours of the sunset whittle to a single sweeping tide of purple gray. The reflections in the water speak most intensely for the things that the day could not highlight for us along our hurried way. The lake is calm; it has all the time to lovingly pause and blur the lines of the austerity with which the sun defined the landscape during the day.
