The anonymous artists work as a unified body and mind at carving empty spaces out of rocks. The first generation strike with the chisel and the precision of the strike paves the path for the journeymen to join the mission of giving a definition to emptiness embedded in rocks. Somewhere along the axis of time as their labor begins to bear fruit there arises a desire to create a Presence among the rocks. The anonymous art energizes the effort and the rock bears a form: the form of a being whose life on earth ended, and its existence proclaimed that emptiness lives; it lives and offers a refuge to all beings.
