On the calm surface
of waters, unruffled,
your subtle persuasion shines
reflecting like a mirror
the image of the little boat you send
for a come-back voyage
to the farthest land from the nearest shore.

The peace, the quiet,
the little boat that sways
gently with the waves,
nothing matters in the world of change, nothing says
it better than the boat and the waves,
and oh, the sleep
that rocks with the sea and the river's dreamy flow.
