The colors of the decade
still live and shine,
luminous, dark and bright by turns
like the recesses hidden
between the rocks,
the spaces for corals
to be sought
when the waves,
of a sudden,
wash them over clean
and the decade begins to live
like a new day that comes back
with the morning sun.
