ARE YOU THE PROPHET...

Drop it, the chant, the rosary of beads;
watch dissolve the mist.
Such a flow of honey,
not honey, not a mist,just a flow,
an alertness, an awareness of being.
The flow expands, but does not sweep you off the feet.
No more fear in the deluge of peace.
Are you lost? Are you there for me?
I no longer need
the comfort of your being.
It expands and carries
all that remains of me.

I come back and hear the voices of agony ;
voices of suicides choking in tunnels,
I know not the cause.

I see a poet being accused
of terrorism, a revolt that he could not carry.
His audience accuse him
of an incomplete mission,
of leaving them dangling in the air
with impotent words of poesy.

"Truth is incorruptible", they had heard him say.
"Show us the Truth; give us hands either to kill
ourselves or kill Truth."

"The cowards cannot kill", he said.
The corrupt cannot kill the incorruptible"
They who were half-way on the way to Truth,
turned back.
From a safe distance they shout,
"Are you the prophet or the terrorist of the day?

    And to just think...at the age of five as you watched the comings and goings of that horse drawn carriage from the staircase would give you the words for the present. How proud your mother must be as she observes your grace...thank you, dear friend...Doc

    Sadly, my mother couldn't see Yajnyawalkya, my novel, finally completed and published. And she was not all that interested in finding out what I was doing. Very few people were aware of my hidden craving for self-expression. My father had read some of my other writings, the long story of a boy called Nachiketa, but he never offered praise that was uncritical. That somewhat dampened my spirit and I thought my writing would not attract anybody

    +Dr Ego Prozac I am so happy to hear those five words. But now I am of the age when i should be offering those words to the younger generation who need them. But they made me happy, to be sure, and I value them a lot, because they come from you dear doc.
    Also your words on the archetypal voices pushing us forward

    Thank you +Sushama Karnik and good evening to you. I have never told you this, but I have a granddaughter that is adopted from India. This is her first year in high school and such a bright and sensitive person. Had her first homecoming this past weekend. She was beautiful in that special dress.

    She is a gentle one...thank you. She has a very kind and mystical spirit about her. I remember my first night with her. I was taking her for a walk that night. There was a full moon and I told her it was Mr Moon. To this day she will ask me if I saw Mr Moon last night...? Always I say, I see Mr Moon shining and sharing our light...he always will.
